Iran short shines at Hungary fest

Iran short film ‘Retouch’ has succeeded to win award from the 6th edition of Friss Hus Film Festival in the Hungarian capital city of Budapest.

Directed by Kaveh Mazaheri, ‘Retouch’ succeeded to win Best Film Award from the competition section of the Hungarian film event.

The flick depicts the story of a young woman whose husband dies before her eyes and she just observes the tragic scene.

'Retouch' has recently won a series of top prizes from other international festivals, including the 4th Short Movie Club Film Festival in Belarus, the 9th session of Cinalfama Lisbon’s International Film Festival in Portugal, and Best Actress Award from the 1st Sukhum International Film Festival in Abkhazia.

Founded in 2013, the Friss Hús Budapest International Short Film Festival is an international short film festival held annually in Budapest, Hungary.

The 6th edition of the event was held on April 3-8, 2018.
